The beautiful thing about Stoic philosophy is the advice contained within it is just as applicable today as it was when it was first written all those many years ago. We can learn a great deal from interpreting the advice provided and using it to our advantage as we go throughout our own lives.
Today’s quote comes to us courtesy of Marcus Aurelius, Meditations, III.4:

Advice
Your life is your life. It is different from every one and is unique to yourself. You must therefore remind yourself of your own actions, your own advancements, your own troubles and tribulations. While others may have advice, guidance, or have also gone through similar adversities, your life is unique to you and therefore is a journey you must travel. Embrace the road you must travel. Love your fate. Amor fati.
