Life and Death
The beautiful thing about Stoic philosophy is the advice contained within it is just as applicable today as it was when it was first written all those many years ago. We can learn a great deal from interpreting the advice provided and using it to our advantage as we go throughout our own lives.
Today’s quote comes to us courtesy of Seneca from his Moral Letters, letter 30:
Quote
“He who does not wish to die cannot have wished to live.”
Advice
We must understand that we have a single life to live. We have this moment. This life. Therefore, we must take advantage of the time we have. We must use every second to our advantage and embrace the gift of this moment.
